I was mooching through some of my previous posts and feeling nostalgic and got to wondering why I don’t post as much any more. Is it because WOW has become boring? Is there not enough to do? Is it too same old, same old?
What did I used to do that I now don’t? Why am I so fed up?

I love Seph, love healing, but there are few new challenges. Is it because I get obsessive about new things and do them to death until I achieve them? I wonder if achievements have spoilt things in that regard? Is it because the RNG hates me when it comes to crocs (I’ve still only got one)?
Is it because you do the same things with your group of 10 people as you do with 25? We used to do Kara with 10 and then go to Gruul, etc with 25. There were lots of different options. At 70 there were more places to go. Now at 80 you go back and do the ones you did before, just a bit harder.
Have Blizzard got lazy? Is it that I’ve been playing too long? Am I just having a down moment? Hmmm.
yeah, I know what you mean… Yorkey, Justi, Dan and I went back to Kara the other day and it was fun and brought back good memories. Fun like I don’t remember Naxx ever being, but maybe that’s because I started raiding when some people were already sick of it.
I am enjoying OS with drakes up when we get a decent group. And VoA10 can be fun too. I think in 10mans you get to know people a lot better, then in 25mans you know them all. Whereas when you start with and stick to 25mans, you never get to know 15+ of the people. So having to start with a 10man raid and then moving on to optional 25man raids is better from a social POV? That make any sense?
I know the felling, killing same bosses over and over again gets a bit like the picture of the cat(nice pic btw). Need to find some new challanges you have always got your achivments. Me on the other hand dont care mutch for achivments, so i did powerlvling the last 3 lvls on the mage and going to start some pvp action on that toon, hmm need to get dual specc and get in to frost again.
Hope some progress in ulduar can bring the joy back in for you Seph, might be one off those days to.
Cya later in game. /hug
LOL we went into Tempest Keep in our 80 epics Sunday night and it was really refreshing, hadnt seen much of that instance before and for most, had NEVER seen any.
but ya…summertime blues..
WoW has become boring because it’s based on finding mutliples of 5 to do things with. I barely enjoy the company of 4 other players, much less 9, or 24 to do things with. All of the ‘expansions’ and ‘patches’ are still based on doing raids with large groups of people. I have always loathed, and still loathe, ‘forced interaction’ with other people to accomplish goals. WAR had the right idea (public quests) but it simply doesn’t solve the problem. AoC was a failure from the get-go. I’m hoping that KOTOR will show a little more faith in the single player (or at least 5 man and under groups) and stop forcing people to march to their sick tune of multiple raiders needed.
instead of playing 24/7 you should try a few hours a week
games will last a lot longer
