The other day while searching about and reading stuff I wrote before when I seemed to have more time and energy I came across an old post of mine about setting your RAS – have a read here. Some of the links don’t work because I wrote the original post in Blogger then moved to WordPress, but if you google search them I’m sure you will find them.

It got me thinking about what I’ve been after recently and how it’s worked for me.
1. Pets. Tick! I not have all I can get in game. I’m keeping an eye on ebay in case someone stupidly posts something VERY cheap, so I can snap it up.
2. Progress. Tick. I have killed Yogg-Saron and have completed the Coliseum thingy. The only boss left is Algalon and we’re working on the hard modes. Hmmmm – maybe I need to go back and tick off some of the old ones. I’ve never done Illidan, Archimonde or Kil’jaeden.
3. Gear. Hmmm. I have some nice stuff, but I can’t face HC grinding to get the last bit I can. THen I need 250 odd Emblems of Triumph for all the goodies that came out recently, so they will come in time. I have my list, so I know what I’m after.
I think again it all goes back to attitude. It makes me sad for a while to think about some people who seem to dwell on being miserable. Given all Barkie and I have been through in the last 3 or 4 years I’m sure had we not had positive attitudes we would have given up on each other, our house, our families, our health. I’m not going to list all that stuff here, but let’s just say that life has thrown some hard balls at us, but we’ve caught them all and thrown them back and laughed.
Laughing. It makes life worthwhile. I leave you with a fave cartoon of mine. Calvin and Hobbes. If you have a son, you will understand this cartoon. If you remember your childhood, you will love Calvin and Hobbes. If you’ve never heard of Calvin and Hobbes do a search for “Calvin and Hobbes archive” and spend all day reading them, buy the books or something like that. You will not regret it. Ahhh – I’m a happy, smiling girl again
