I was reading some of my blog feeds today and came across this post by Magerly Different. It set me off on a Wikipedia search about Succubi (being the curious, want to know more about anything sort of person that I am).
I discovered that there are male versions….
An incubus (from the Latin, incubo, or nightmare; plural incubi) is a demon in male form supposed to lie upon sleepers, especially women, in order to have sexual intercourse with them, according to a number of mythological and legendary traditions. Its female counterpart is the succubus. An incubus may pursue sexual relations with a woman in order to father a child, as in the legend of Merlin. Some sources indicate that it may be identified by its unnaturally large or cold penis. Religious tradition holds that repeated intercourse with an incubus or succubus may result in the deterioration of health, or even death.
Now if I played a female warlock, surely I should have an Incubus?
Does your mind go off in wierd and wonderful tangents the way mine does? What would your incubus look like? Would he be a rippling, muscular hunk? Would he have an unnaturally large codpiece (a bit like Blackadders in season 2)?
I think I might make a petition against Blizzard for sexual discrimination and see if I can get myself an Incubus. If they truly believe that girls do play WOW (and a LOT of them blog about it too), surely it’s a small thing to ask. I’m sure they could design something appropriate, given their success with their female characters.

Maybe I’d call mine Vin, or Brad, or Maximus, or …. ooooh! I know – how about Jean-Clawed (Clawed=Claude, get it? Ha ha – what a pun, go me!).
Yes, it’s the end of a VERY long half-term week with kids at home and me trying to work. I’ve given up and taken half a day off today.
Succubus are sexy! :>
