Should I be Night Elf, or should I go back to being Human?
I’ve been mulling this over for a while. When I came home from my Horde holiday, I decided to go NE because I’d been BE and quite liked it. Also, my first real character had been a NE rogue and I liked the look of her. I fancied having Shadowmeld so I could hide from Horde, which I don’t need to do any more on a PVE server and to help if a raid was wiping, which I always forget I have and so rarely use anyway. Plus NE get to do somersaults when they jump which is quite cool, except I’m not a teenage player idling in SW and don’t often jump for effect.
Since then, I’ve not felt right completely. Seph used to be Human. All my memories of her are as a Human. Now, I do love NE, but I’m kind of missing being Human.

What do you think guys? Should I go back to being human? I know the outfits aren’t quite comparable, but… hmmmmm.
I think human characters suit skimpy clothes a little more than NE – their bottoms are rounder and perter. I am wondering this because I am mulling a mogging outfit that would match/fit in with the rest of the tarts ladies in my guild.

I don’t like the human models, so I wouldn’t change my main’s race even if I could (she’s a NE druid). But I definitely understand what you mean about Seph not being “right” as a NE… so I vote for race changing. I only faction transferred one character ever and it felt very weird for a few weeks when I saw a BE instead of a NE. I can’t imagine feeling that way on my main. I’m not an RPer, but I do feel like my characters have a sort of “personality” – Jen couldn’t be anything else than a short-haired (white/green) NE with butterflies on her face.

I just have a preference for nelfs over humans, same as I prefer belfs… That said, what’s critically important is that you feel ‘right’ when you’re playing the character. Pilfkin (the ‘toon, not me, as it were) wouldn’t feel right as ANY other race than belf. End of story. And I have *never* rolled a nelf just to jump around. Really.. honest…

Definitely human, if it feels right. I love Alq being a NE, and couldn’t bear for her to be anything else, even if she doesn’t have the awesomely pert and round buttocks that certain other guildies do! Regarding shadowmeld, it doesn’t “catch” as often as I’d like- it’s saved us a complete wipe very rarely, I’d say don’t fret about it.
(And yes, I do still sometimes jump for the somersault!)
